What we believe...

The Bible:             We believe The Scriptures, as originally given by God, are the final authority in matters of faith and conduct.

God:                       We believe that there is one true God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Sin:                       We believe that man was created in the image of God for

fellowship with God, but that his choice to disobey God resulted in separation from God and left him dead in sin.

Jesus:                   We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is God. He became

human through the virgin birth, lived a sinless life, and made salvation possible through His death, burial and resurrection.  He ascended to heaven to mediate for us and will return in bodily form when He will judge the living and the dead.

Salvation:                We believe that sinful people may be restored to God, given

full forgiveness, cleansing from sin and new life with God. We believe this cannot be earned or merited in any way, but that God gives it as a free gift to those who repent of our sins and trust solely in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

The Holy Spirit:  We believe that the Holy Spirit helps sinners to see their need of Christ, enables them to trust in Him and gives them new life in Him. We believe He lives permanently within all who put their faith in Jesus, giving them power to walk with God in righteousness, peace, and joy and changing them so that they become more and more like our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Church:         We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and it consists of true believers.
